UMi Teases The Arrival Of UMi Iron, Contests Incoming

UMi has been teasing a couple of new devices recently. The company has released the UMi EMAX handset a while back, and it has been available for purchase since the beginning of this month. The company has also teased two new devices, their new flagship, UMi Iron, and UMi’s upcoming bluetooth headphones. We’ve seen quite a few leaks when it comes to the UMi Iron, we know that the device will sport a full metal body, be only 7.9mm thick, and will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop pre-installed. The device will also come with a 25MW directpath from Texas Instruments, which should improve the Hi-Fi audio output on this device. The 13-megapixel rear-facing camera (Sony’s IMX214 sensor) and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter have also been more or less confirmed.

That being said, we now have some additional (confirmed) details regarding this handset. The phone will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) LTPS display, and UMi will launch a number of giveaways starting June 23rd, which is also the phone’s release date by the way. The device will also sport a dual-LED flash next to its protruding camera on the back. Both the lock / power and volume rocker buttons will be located on the phone’s left-hand side it seems.
