Xiaomi Mi 4i Now Ships Worldwide Through A Reseller

Xiaomi has announced their Mi 4i handset at the end of last month. This mid-range Xiaomi offering is actually the first handset to launch outside of China first, the device was announced at an event in India. The Mi 4i sports really solid specs and offers great build quality, while it costs only Rs. 12.999 ($ 205). The Mi 4i is already available in India and Xiaomi has announced a range of other countries in Asia which will get the device, but if you live outside of Asia, you’re out of luck. Xiaomi still doesn’t do business outside of Asia, as far as smartphone sales go at least. If you’re interested in purchasing the Mi 4i though, there is a way to do it.

If you really want to buy the Mi 4i and the phone is not available in your market, you can always order one via a reseller. The Mi 4i units have started popping up on websites of various resellers in China, like Honorbuy (former XiaomiShop) for example. You can now order the Xiaomi Mi 4i from Honorbuy for $ 289.99 (excluding tax) in White color. The Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) Sharp / JDI fully laminated display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of non-expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this handset along with an Adreno 405 GPU for graphics. The 13-megapixel snapper is located on the back of this handset, and a 5-megapixel shooter is available on its front side. This is a dual SIM handset which offers 4G LTE connectivity and ships with a 3,120mAh battery. Android 5.0.2 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Xiaomi’s MIUI 6.0 on top of Google’s operating system. The Mi 4i measures 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8mm, weighs 130 grams and originally launched in Black, White, Orange, Light Blue and Pink color options, though only the White variant is available through Honorbuy at the moment.
