Samsung Expands Wireless ‘Level’ Series with new Level On Headphones and Level Link Audio Adapter

Samsung officially announced today two new products for its Level Series of smart Bluetooth audio products – the Samsung Level On Wireless headphones and Samsung Level Link audio connectors.  They are designed to not only produce great audio with the latest of Samsung technology, but also look great while doing their job.  JK Shin, CEO and Head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics said, “With the Samsung Level series, we have brought together our industry-leading technology and design expertise to deliver users the best possible audio experience.  The Samsung Level On Wireless and Level Link are built upon Samsung’s longstanding heritage of mobile innovation to expand our range of audio accessories that deliver organic sound quality, superior comfort, portability and style.”  They will be available later this month, however, no pricing has been announced.

The Level On Wireless headphones are designed for comfort with full circular ear pads and even the headband is amply padded.  They have Bluetooth, Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and feature Smart Touch controls – you simply tap the side of the headphone.  With this touch control, you can activate and adjust S Voice, volume, play, pause, or skip tracks without ever touching the paired device.  The sound is produced by a 40mm ultra high quality dual-layered speaker and powered by a built-in battery that Samsung claims will last up to 11 hours using BT and ANC, up to 23 hours with just BT and up to 20 hours using only ANC.  They use a microUSB connector for charging, a 3.5mm audio jack for stereo cabling and come in Blue Black, Blue, Red and White.

Samsung’s Level Link uses Bluetooth connectivity to hook two devices together – for instance, hook the Level Link up to your HDTV and pair it to your BT headphones (like Samsung’s Level On), earbuds, speakers so that you can listen comfortably without disturbing anybody else.  Level Link will even allow you to stream audio to two devices at once – you and a friend can play a game at the same time, each with their own headset.  No wires to stretch across the room or be tangled up.  Level Link uses BT 3.0 and apt X Low Latency, apt X, Samsung HD, SBC and AAC.  The battery will last up to 6 hours of play or talk and up to 200 hours in standby.  It also uses a microUSB connector for charging. Level Link has a 3.5mm Audio jack for stereo audio cable and BT for wireless music listening and comes in Charcoal Black, Blue, Red and White.
