LG G4 Promo Videos Surface With Focus On Leather, Display and Camera Abilities

It seems, making smartphones is only part of the job when it comes to being a smartphone manufacturer these days. The other side of the equation seems to be releasing marketing and promotional videos. This, at least seems to be the case if you look at the top smartphone manufacturers. Of course, when it comes to promo videos, few manufacturers can compete with the likes of Samsung. Not to mention, with the launch of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the South Korean tech giant has stepped up their promo video presence and released an abundance of videos. However, over the last few weeks, there has also been a ton of promotional videos coming from HTC, all promoting their latest offering, the HTC One M9.

Well, this week saw the other South Korean tech giant, LG, launching their latest flagship device, the LG G4. This particular device has been long speculated upon, largely thanks to a larger-than-usual amount of leaks and information coming down the wire over the last few weeks. All the speculation finally did come to an end though, when the company did unveil the G4 along with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Quantum LCD display, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor, 16-megapixel OIS rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. All being powered by a 3,000 mAh removable battery and running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box.

Well, like the other big manufacturers who have been releasing devices of late, LG have also now started their promo video campaign with a few new videos. However, unlike both Samsung and HTC, the LG videos, so far, seem to be taking a much more direct approach, foregoing any comical or otherwise content. The LG videos much more focus on the actual features of the device. In particular, the leather backing of the device, the quantum dot display on offer, as well as the camera features available with the G4. Interestingly, two of the ‘leather’ videos are identical, barring the actual color of the leather backing. Either way, you can check out all the videos release today by clicking play below.
